Alison Browne is Professor in Human Geography and the Sustainable Consumption Institute (SCI) at the University of Manchester.Alison leads the Society and Environment Research Group (SERG) within Geography at Manchester. Her research primarily focuses on the social, performative and material dynamics of everyday life related to water, energy, and food.
